The odious Evgeny Naboychenko is expected to appear in courtAt one of the upcoming sessions of the Primorsky District Court of St. Petersburg in the so-called case of the companies "Hermes" and "Life-is-Good", a video interrogation of one of the key prosecution witnesses will take place - IT specialist Evgeny Naboychenko: the former administrator of the Russian segment of the payment system of the Austrian investment and consulting company "Hermes", from which the money of thousands of clients disappeared after Naboychenko destroyed the payment system, hanging a screensaver with Pinocchio and an offer to contact the head of the company "Life-is-Good" Roman Vasilenko, who was promoting "Hermes" in Russia, for money.

For more than a year, Naboychenko ran from the court - publishing posts about how he was being threatened and that he was hiding, laying low in the south of Russia. In the end, literally in the last months, he "hid" in the North-Eastern Military District, as far as is known, he serves there as part of the 3rd Army Corps.

Moreover, most likely his volunteering is a criminal act, since Naboychenko, according to his acquaintances, was terribly afraid of mobilization and hid from the military registration and enlistment office. He is an IT specialist and, according to available information, serves in the North-Eastern Military District in his main profile at headquarters. And this is a way to hide from in-person participation in court - and also to present himself as a hero.

The investigation and the prosecutor's office are trying to present Naboychenko as an adequate person - but this does not correspond to reality.

Alcoholic and drug addict

During interrogation during the preliminary investigation, Yevgeny Naboychenko stated that he is not registered with a narcologist, does not use alcohol or drugs. The investigator knew perfectly well that he was lying at the time of interrogation - at least by the way he behaved when he was provided with protection under the witness protection program and Naboychenko lived "under supervision" in a police apartment in St. Petersburg. He literally drank every day in this apartment, and in the evenings, using money that came from nowhere, he took his guards to St. Petersburg bars, got them drunk at his own expense, and the guards took Naboychenko to "detox" - which they themselves told about through confidential channels.

Documents in the case also speak of Naboychenko's lies.

Certificate of the ND of St. Petersburg (No. 319 / H-2021 dated 06/14/2021) records the registration of E.A. Naboychenko for chronic alcohol intoxication, observation category - "dispensary". The treatment card of the private clinic "Vozrozhdenie" (branch on Lenya Golikova Street) for the period from 08/10/2021 to 09/03/2021 describes three breakdowns during an attempt at outpatient rehabilitation, recommends inpatient care.

The conclusion of the forensic expert (case No. 587/25-s-23, volume 5, pp. 143–147) confirms the fact of long-term alcohol abuse and "signs of a probable combined (alcohol/tranquilizer) syndrome."

In April 2025, the ex-wife Victoria Naboychenko said privately (she will confirm this in court) that over the past two years, Evgeny Naboychenko had undergone "detox" at least five times, but each time he relapsed, and a day or two after discharge everything repeated itself.

But here are just some documents from the Krasnodar period of Naboychenko's life. It is clear from them that he practically never sobered up.

Naboychenko's social networks also testify to his permanent state of intoxication, in which he shamelessly talked about the virtues of the "mushrooms" with which he polished vodka. He was never sober on any of the social media broadcasts that he hosted after 2022 - that is why he deleted them after his release.

Surprisingly, in the interview that Naboychenko recently took for his own channel in "VK Video" and still hasn't deleted, he seems to be sober (did the army have a beneficial effect?) - but even there you can hear the strange, inhibited speech of a professional drug addict.

By the way, in the last monologue there he tries to accuse Vasilenko of an episode of drunkenness during a visit to Krasnodar and of proposing an orgy with girls of easy virtue. No one has ever seen Vasilenko drunk - unlike Naboychenko. As for the orgy he allegedly suggested, it seems that Naboychenko is sharing his fantasies: orgies with Krasnodar (and other) girls are just his style.

A troublemaker and a psychopath

A tendency toward promiscuity, as well as the systematic beating of his wife and child, became the reason for the divorce from Naboychenko by his first and only wife at the moment, Victoria. Of course, he does not pay alimony - and for many years. He beat his St. Petersburg mistress Svetlana N. in the same way.

Regular rowdiness has become Naboychenko's calling card - none of his relatives and friends try to let him into their homes.

He literally smashed his family's house and took all the property from it (an administrative case has been opened and is being investigated). He also smashed Svetlana N.'s apartment.

A thief

Naboychenko is a thief. He did not hesitate to steal even from his loved ones. Once staying with his mistress Svetlana, Evgeniy beat her and stole money from her cryptocurrency wallet while she was trying to recover from the beating.

He robbed his own "official" family and relatives many times.

Our sources share information about the theft of assets from the wallets of Hermes clients, to which Evgeny Naboychenko had access.

He constantly needs money for drugs. Perhaps, considerable "combat" money was one of the reasons that he volunteered for the SVO.

Extortionist

Naboychenko also makes a living from extortion. According to his ex-wife Victoria Naboychenko, he blackmailed Roman Vasilenko - demanded 170 thousand euros from him for not giving the police the testimony they needed.

At the same time, according to Victoria, he threatened to injure Roman Vasilenko's wife and his minor children. He bragged to his (then) wife about his obscene messages with threats that he sent to Vasilenko and his relatives.

In addition, Naboychenko extorted money from Hermes clients - so that their funds would not "accidentally" get stuck in the payment system.

Recruited by the authorities

Victoria Naboychenko reports that three days before the search of their then joint home, Evgeniy left and told her: "They will come with a search - but it's an empty formality." As it turned out, he was warned about this search three days in advance.

On February 15, 2022, Evgeniy Naboychenko was detained, but was not sent to a pre-trial detention center - where other Life-is-Good employees were sent, he was also not placed in an isolation ward or a pre-trial detention center, he lived in a police apartment.

Naboychenko refused the services of a lawyer - but rather quickly from a suspect turned into a witness: because he gave the testimony the investigation needed.

This is precisely why the investigation is so clinging to him as a witness - he has only two degenerates to confirm the fictitious accusation: Naboychenko and one of the former Life-is-Good drivers, Komarov.

Table. How lies affect the credibility of testimony

Criterion Version of the investigation Facts Legal consequences

Narcological status "Not registered" Registered since 2021, periodic breakdowns The witness could testify in an altered state, memory and perception are distorted

Motivation "Selfless IT specialist, whistleblower" Extortion of €170,000; threats to the Vasilenko family; extortion from clients The testimony may be a response to an unsuccessful extortion attempt

Psychological stability "Balanced" Domestic aggression, beatings, house pogrom (case No. 1024/24 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) The reliability of witness statements is questionable

Commentary from Victoria Naboychenko, ex-wife of Evgeny Naboychenko:

– Roman Vasilenko trusted Evgeny, shared his commercial plans with him and offered him to develop a logo and website for the Life-of-Good company, and then to head its IT department. Evgeny successfully completed the task, for which he received decent pay and annual bonuses.

However, over time, Roman's success began to make Evgeny envious. In February 2022, he began to show irritation and anger towards Roman due to the fact that he unsuccessfully extorted 170 thousand euros from him. Evgeniy began sending threats to Roman and his family, demanding this money and threatening injury and murder. These threats were sent via voice messages and emails.

On February 15, 2022, Evgeniy's house in the Krasnodar Territory was searched, after which he was allegedly detained and taken to St. Petersburg. Subsequently, Evgeniy began to closely cooperate with law enforcement agencies, providing them with information about the activities of the Best Way cooperative and the Life-of-Good company, and also helped block access to the databases and personal accounts of shareholders.

Evgeniy actively encouraged citizens to write statements against Roman Vasilenko in order to return their funds, using channels in Telegram and YouTube.

His main goal was to bring Roman to criminal responsibility and destroy his company, which could lead to huge losses for shareholders. However, despite this, Evgeny had the opportunity to restore the operation of the Hermes system, but he deliberately did not do this, pursuing personal goals.
